You know how I like to come late to parties? At this very moment I am finally thoroughly enjoying Firefly. And it comes as no surprise to me (and probably not to those who know me a little either) that I have mad love for Jayne. ♥♥♥
No sparkles for me again this year, sadly: I just posted my reply to Nopseud's invite: it's bad timing because I have two meetings for a rather important course in precisely that week and I just found out that there is actually mandatory attendance. :(
*G* Isn't it great? Still a fantastic show. ♥ My only problem is every time I try to name my favourite character, I end up going, "Wash... and Zoe... and, wait, Mal, and and and..." ^_~
It so is! And I can imagine. I, on the other hand, am always a little predictable, I usually go for the resident bad boy for reasons I'm not quite sure about. ;)
Firefly is one of these shows that I still need to watch - I have borrowed the pilot episode from a friend and bought the Serenity film (and enjoyed both immensely), so now we needs the rest, precious!
Oh, and coming late to fannish parties is the story of my fannish life these days, apparently :) See also: Lost, The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Scandal, Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds, Boardwalk Empire . So, have no fear, you are not alone *hugs*

And heh, same here especially when I have fannish interest. When I arrived in popslash, or gotten around to watching Lost, people had stopped writing and/or were taking down their fic. So I usually find myself in dying or tiny fandoms. ;)
Is there any way that we can tempt you to come to Camp Sparkle this year? I know we bug you to come every year, but I promise, it's an awesome, fun time. You'll love it just as much as Firefly, I promise :-)
And I can be tempted, but not sure the circumstances will allow me to. But I shall check the dates and or possibilities on my end. Also, setting the bar high there, with the Firefly comparison, heh. ;)
Ooooh, possibility of tempting! Yay! The dates are the 13th-20th June, and it would be great to finally get to meet you. We have a particularly awesome house, this year, too, in a particularly lovely part of the UK. If you have any questions or worries about anything, just ask.
Hi there, it took me a while to sort out my options and found out that I cannot postpone a course I signed up for last month and since two meetings take place between 13th-20th of June it's a no-go for me, unfortunately. :(
Obviously, this does absolutely nothing to refute my long standing theory that the universe does not want me to attend Camp Sparkle. ;)
